To get a student discount, you need to show a valid student card with expiration date and ID.

Students of Archaeology or Anthropology at Aarhus University and the University of Copenhagen as well as Marine Archaeology at SDU can visit Moesgaard for free.

The discounts below are available when purchasing entrance tickets at Moesgaard’s physical ticket desk. A discount cannot be combined with other discounts.

Molslinjen

Show your ticket from the Molslinjen ferry and get a 20% discount on entrance tickets for up to two people (please note, your Molslinjen ticket can be up to seven days old).

Get a refund on your entrance tickets

You and an accompanying person can always get your entrance tickets refunded if you buy an annual pass for Moesgaard on the same day you visit the museum. You can find out more about ticket sales at the museum.

Free admission for special groups

We give free admission to organisations and associations working with socially disadvantaged people or people with special needs. We assess the possibility of free admission based on various criteria, including whether you are on the list produced by Rådet for Socialt Udsatte. A visit for a group for which free admission is requested must always be arranged in advance. Enquiries can be made by writing an email to klub@moesgaardmuseum.dk or calling the museum on 87394000 during telephone opening hours. Access is only granted to organisations and not to individuals. The visit must be made as a group and tickets are handed out on arrival.

We do not donate tickets to lotteries, tombolas, prizes etc.

With an annual pass to Moesgaard you get:

You can extend your membership with a 10% discount when you renew your annual pass within 30 days of its expiry.
